About the role
We are hiring a Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure our product runs on. Today that is AWS, Terraform, Docker and GitHub Actions, with Kubernetes for our heavier services.
Your mandate is simple to state and interesting to solve: make it easy for every engineer to ship safely. That covers deployment pipelines, observability, cost, and the security posture that a financial services business needs.
What you will do
- Own and evolve our AWS infrastructure, fully managed through Terraform
- Build CI/CD pipelines that make deploys frequent, safe and reversible
- Run our observability stack so problems are visible before customers notice
- Drive infrastructure cost efficiency without compromising reliability
- Harden our security posture and support compliance requirements
- Write the runbooks and tooling that make on-call humane
What we are looking for
- 4+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering
- Deep hands-on AWS experience and strong infrastructure-as-code discipline
- Production experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Strong scripting ability in Python, Go or Bash
- Practical understanding of cloud networking and security
- Calm, methodical approach to incidents and post-mortems
